Offers self-care tips for those who are in a caregiving role to help them understand the importance of managing their stress, taking time for themselves, asking for help when needed and ultimately becoming better caregivers in the face of numerous challenges.

The Clock is Ticking...When it's Time to Look for Help
Encourages individuals and family members to recognize signs that additional help and resources may be needed--from minimal assistance to more intensive options--and where to look for this help.

Home Safe Home
Educates participants on creating a secure environment for seniors by first determining the critical needs of the people living in the home. Includes information about the vital role minor modifications, adaptive equipment, medication organization and personal response systems play in ensuring home safety.

Who Can I Trust?
Stresses the necessity of examining the pros and cons of various types of in-home care options BEFORE bringing anyone into the home to care for yourself or a loved one. Also features the critical questions that should be asked of every potential caregiver or home care company.

Another Set of Eyes and Ears
Explains the role of a certified geriatric care manager and how this professional can serve as the "eyes and ears" for family members who are seeking an objective assessment of their loved one's condition, recommendations for available resources and/or ongoing care management.
