Established in 1888, the Visiting Nurse Association of Southwestern Indiana, Inc. is the oldest visiting nurse organization in the Midwest; Visiting Nurse Plus has been a sister corporation to VNA since 1982. Indiana Association for Home and Hospice Care
The Indiana Association for Home & Hospice Care (IAHHC) is the voice of Indiana's home care providers, representing all of home care: traditional home health nursing services, home-based and inpatient hospice care, and "private duty" home care - including non-medical services that allow Hoosiers to remain independent in their own homes. Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging (SWIRCA)
The Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging, Inc. (SWIRCA) was designated as an Area Agency on Aging in July, 1974 to serve Gibson, Perry, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick counties, now known as Area 16. Area Agencies are designated by the Indiana Division of Aging as focal points responsible for planning and coordinating a system of services for older Hoosiers in each of the sixteen regions of Indiana.
