MedMinders
MedMinders is beneficial for individuals who
have trouble remembering to take their medications, are confused by
the number of medications they require, or whose physical limitations
(such as reduced vision) make it difficult to take medications properly. With this service, a VNP registered
nurse assesses the customer's general condition; sorts medications in
an easy-to-use dosage box; makes weekly visits to re-check the medications
and sort them if necessary; and stays in contact with the customer's
family, pharmacist and physician as needed.
Medication set-up and management is provided on a complimentary basis
to customers receiving VNP services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
